Automation and expertise to speed delivery at Mud Pie

Mud Pie has rolled out an automated warehouse management system to substantially increase their distribution capacity and speed delivery to stores. Along with the new system, Mud Pie has announced that Steve Bulla will be joining the organization as Vice President of Distribution. Bulla brings over 25 years of experience directing operations functions including distribution, logistics and inventory management for multinational organizations.

According to Fred Pannek, president of Mud Pie, Bulla’s expertise in automated distribution centers is essential as Mud Pie continues to expand. “We have been searching for the right talent to lead this effort as we work our way through the integration. Steve has deep experience, 20 plus years, specifically leading automated distribution centers.  He will be a vital asset to the team in providing a better customer experience to our retailers,” Pannek said.
