Bossier, LA – Want to buy some unique, one-of-a-kind works of art? Try the gift shop inside the Bossier Arts Council, which is one of downtown Bossier City’s hidden gems.

“This is an opportunity for artisans to sell their work,” said Robin Jones, the Bossier Arts Council’s site and education coordinator, who estimates about 100 people per week come through the store. “It’s small, but we like it this small.”

It’s housed in a former storage closet in the corner of the East Bank Gallery, one of the organization’s main spaces to showcase artists’ work. It opened about three years ago after a local Boy Scout got it up and running for his Eagle Scout project. The work of about 20 artists is for sale.
