Palatine, IL – Driving past Morkes Chocolates on Rand Road in Palatine, one might not realize the shop carries more than just candy.

Owned by Rhonda Dehn of Barrington, Morkes offers homemade chocolates, candy, candy-making supplies and classes in confectionery creations.

“We do a lot of different shapes and molds. We have fun with it,” Dehn said. “We also go to people’s homes and teach how to make candy.”
