Beatriz Ball introduces new collections for summer
Beatriz Ball will make more than 300 introductions this summer at the upcoming markets.
The debuts include a renewed focus on the handmade metalware (rebranded “Atelier”), the development of the multicolored Encanto line, and an assortment of offerings in melamine, glass, resin, ceramics and linens.
‘ATELIER’
Beatriz Ball is revisiting its roots in sand-cast metalware and emphasizing that each original metal design is an act of creation, slowly made entirely by hand, one at a time, according to the company.
In recognition of the intensely handmade, artisanal process of her metal items, Beatriz Ball has rebranded her metal collection with a new name, “ATELIER.”
“An atelier is a workshop where artists create,” Ball said. “A place of slow and deliberate creation, where generations of artisans hone their craft under the same roof. … Handcrafted objects hold a special energy, a certain magic, each piece tells a story through its subtle imperfections. The texture you feel, the weight you hold — these become reminders of the human hands behind it.”
Crafted in a foundry outside of Mexico City, Beatriz Ball’s intensely handmade products employ eco-friendly and sustainable materials and are crafted by artisans who trace a heritage of metalworking for generations.
ENCANTO
Beatriz Ball’s new multicolored ENCANTO Collection incorporates vibrant enameled colors and gold-tone details on bowls, trays and picture frames and will debut at the summer 2024 markets.
ENCANTO colors include sorbet tones as pistachio and two shades of pink. Additional hues of pale blue, white and a deep, rich red round out the palette. Shapes include frames, fluted bowls, cracker trays and heart-shaped dishes.
“Your table will be the canvas, and your paint palette pieces of delightful colors — soft lavenders, delicate blushes, calming turquoises, and stunning jewel tones, trimmed in gold,” said Ball. “I’m so excited; I can’t wait to share them with my customers.”
Beatriz Ball will introduce new ENCANTO items and highlight the ATELIER Collection in special displays in its spaces in Ivystone’s Dallas and Atlanta showrooms during Summer 2024 Markets.
LUXURY MELAMINE
Beatriz Ball’s luxury melamine line aims to lend a touch of class to casual design. Each new melamine piece has the substance, weight and appearance of a ceramic item, but is made of luxury melamine for everyday enjoyment.
A marriage of style and substance in a material custom made for today’s busy lifestyles, Beatriz Ball’s sculptural approach to melamine truly revolutionized the category.
New designs include:
- HAVANA: Three Havana pieces with flirty curves and generous surface areas — a pedestal cake plate, and an extra-large centerpiece and a platter.
- ALEGRIA: By popular demand, Alegria adds a deviled egg platter, a pedestal cake plate, an extra-large round centerpiece and an oval platter — each design rimmed with sparking pearls.
- NUBE: Artistry, innovation and practicality blend seamlessly in exquisite Nube melamine designs. Presented in a sensuous matte finish, the new double ice bucket is a standout, and a classic modern rectangular platter and centerpiece are also sure-fire crowd pleasers. Rounding out Nube offerings is a handy guest towel holder.
- BLOOM: Other standouts include four new nature inspired Bloom designs: an oval platter and three bowls.
‘CARNIVAL IN VENICE’
Beatriz Ball is also launching colorful glassware for the bar or table at the summer markets this year.
“Let’s add some fun to your glassware,” said Beatriz Ball. “Introducing our new multi-colored Venice glasses, featuring stunning shapes, sparkling optics, and tints that remind you of watercolors.”
These include:
- Vibrant Masterpieces: Each piece is designed to be a work of art, made one at a time by skilled artisans and guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
- Rainbow of Options: Choose between martini, coupe and shot glasses with a different color on each segment. Tints for martini glasses are violet/pink, pink/blue, green/pink and blue/green. Coup and shot glass hues are amber/pink, yellow/amber, amber/blue, green/lavender.
- Mix & Match Fun: Find the perfect glass for a favorite cocktail or beverage. Mix and match colors to create a unique serving experience.
- Sold as Sets of Four: Grab a set and prepare for a colorful party. These beauties aim to turn heads and make everyone say “cheers!” according to the company.
