BeginAgain Earns First Toy Awards
Toy testers and experts are starting to notice BeginAgain, a new eco-toy company making playthings with both old-fashioned play value and modern planet value.
BeginAgain’s new Kickin’ Putt outdoor game is a finalist in ASTRA’s Best Toys for Kids 2012 award program. Families use two “kickin’ golf balls” made from natural rubber and a “scoring disc” made in the USA from wheat starch plastic to play this innovative game that combines the fun of soccer, golf and flying discs. The game retails for $30.
Parents’ Choice recently recognized BeginAgain’s Bathtub Ball—Shark Tank playset (SRP $22), Treasure Hunt Objects & Shapes Game (SRP $25) and Kickin’ Putt outdoor family game with 2012 Parents’ Choice Recommended Awards. The Tea Otters Beverage Set received the Parents’ Choice Approved Award. Treasure Hunt also was named to Dr. Toy’s 2012 list of Best Green Products.
BeginAgain’s updated ImagiPLAY animal puzzles and yo-yos made from sustainably harvested rubberwood will debut at ASTRA’s Marketplace & Academy in Baltimore next week. The new designs have a fresh, whimsical look and are colored with non-toxic, water-based stains that show off the wood’s natural beauty.
