Birmingham Shop Owner is Whistling With the Gnomes
Birmingham, MI – Just in time for the holidays, a little fun stuff.
Denise Kulak wants her customers to enjoy a “Willy Wonka experience” when they walk through the door of her new gift shop, called Fun Stuff. It’s inside the Adams Square shopping center at 725 S. Adams Road.
“I started out with a little shop in my pole barn in Frankfort,” said Kulak. “I actually opened it on a whim when I lost my job in May. I put down Astroturf, added some curtains and I bought some product — and I managed to sell everything over the summer. I then decided I wanted to create something similar down here.”
