Buck County Icons Make Special Appearance on NBC’s “The Office”

Byers’ Choice kicked-off what will be an exciting weekend at the Chalfont, Pa., workshop last night when the Carolers made an appearance at Dunder Mifflin on NBC’s award-winning series, “The Office.”

The Byers’ Choice Carolers were prominently displayed in the opening scene of Thursday’s holiday episode—airing at 9 p.m.—as Ed Helms’ character, Andy, sang along with the figurines. Now in its sixth season, the half-hour documentary-style comedy looks into the many humorous scenarios that exemplify the world of “9-to-5.”

“We were thrilled to see our Carolers on ‘The Office,’ and it is a great way to start the holiday weekend at Byers’ Choice,” said Joyce Byers, designer and founder of Byers’ Choice.

Today and tomorrow, the Byers’ Choice workshop—where 100 artisans typically handcraft the iconic Carolers—will become a theater to host the annual one-man performances of “A Christmas Carol” starring Gerald Charles Dickens. The great-great grandson of famed author Charles Dickens takes the audience back to the Dickensian streets of London, England during the 1800s.

Catch the international performer at 7 p.m. tonight or 5 p.m. tomorrow. Saturday’s 1 p.m. is sold out. Tickets are $18 each and can be purchased by calling 215-822-6700 or visiting www.byerschoice.com.
