Byers’ Choice Completes “12 Days Of Christmas” Caroler Collection

The holiday season may be over, but Byers’ Choice Ltd., makers of the famous Caroler figurines, is happy to announce its 2011 product line. This year’s new releases include the completion of the “12 Days of Christmas” series.

The “12 Days of Christmas” concept was established several years ago when founder, designer and mom, Joyce Byers, decided to develop new figurine designs that coincide with the classic holiday song. Since that time, two new designs have been unveiled each year, with the “Eleven Pipers Piping” and the “Twelve Drummers Drumming” debuting in 2011 to complete the collectable set.

“We are delighted to complete our ’12 Days of Christmas’ line this year,” Byers said. “We’ve had a great response from the earlier designs in this series, and we hope our fans will enjoy these final two Carolers to complete their sets.”

The Twelve Days of Christmas are the days between Christmas Day and Epiphany, Dec. 25 through Jan. 5, representing the length of time that the Three Wisemen took to reach the manger in Bethlehem.

The “Eleven Pipers Piping” figurine represents the eleven apostles and is depicted as a kilted man with bagpipes. The “Twelve Drummers Drumming” Caroler represents the twelve points of doctrine in the Apostles Creed and is designed as a British Royal Guard with a drum.

Among other new designs for the spring of 2011 are Carolers that span a variety of holiday seasons, including Valentine’s Day, Easter and Halloween. Additional lines include historical figurines with the Colonial and Civil War lines, as well as novel Santa designs such as the “German Santa” and the “Night Before Christmas Santa.”

The 2011 Carolers are currently only available to store retailers, but Byers’ collectors will be able to purchase the new figurines in the coming months.
