Byers’ Choice Illuminates Bucks County Grounds for Christmas 2012
Byers’ Choice, makers of the handcrafted holiday Caroler figurines, is kicking-off the 2012 Christmas season with its annual Grand Illumination event on Sunday, Nov. 4, when the Byers family will illuminate more than 400,000 lights at 5 p.m.
Bucks County residents and local fans can go to the Byers’ Choice Christmas museum starting at noon that day to start taking in the sights and sounds of the season. The museum serves as a year-round tribute to Christmas, with hundreds of Carolers and Kindles on display.
In addition, guests can stop by the Gift Emporium, offering the widest selection of Byers’ Choice products anywhere, to get their Christmas shopping done early.
Then at 5 p.m., Byers’ Choice will illuminate, for the first time this year, its Christmas lights along the company’s sprawling grounds in Chalfont, Pa.
“Christmas is the most popular time of the year for everyone here at Byers’ Choice, and we are thrilled to be able to officially mark the start of the season with one of our favorite annual events, the Grand Illumination,” said Joyce Byers, founder and designer of Byers’ Choice.
The weekend will also mark the opening of the Byers’ Choice German Christmas Market, an annual tradition modeled after the country’s vendor stalls, where nutcrackers, advent calendars and more will be available. It will be open for guests through the end of the year.
Guests can attend the event at Byers’ Choice for free, and no reservations are required. The Byers’ Choice museum, workshop, gardens and Gift Emporium are open year-round for fans. For more information, please visit www.byerschoice.com.
