Caskata Studio Collection Launches in Stores Beginning Spring 2014
Caskata, Inc. and Boston International, Inc. are pleased to announce an agreement to develop and further extend Caskata’s line of artisanal paper designs to a host of new products. As part of the agreement, Caskata will maintain creative control with designer and founder Shawn Laughlin spearheading new product design in conjunction with Boston International President Pam Metz and the BI Product Development team.
According to the terms of the agreement, Boston International will manufacture and distribute the new products under the brand name Caskata StudioTM. The line will include not only cocktail & luncheon napkins, paper guest towels, gift bags, paper placemats and coasters but also a line of premium melamine under the brand name Caskata Studio PureTM.
“We are very excited to be working with such a talented group of professionals,” said Pam Metz. “Caskata StudioTM will offer luxury designs to a wider audience of consumers. This partnership allows BI to do what we do best in distribution and sales while Caskata will focus on their unique designs which will now be extended to wonderful new products. This is truly an exciting opportunity for both companies.”
The partnership was announced internally to Boston International and Caskata sales forces last month and the collaboration is already generating considerable enthusiasm in the marketplace.
