Clifford the Big Red Dog Takes a Stroll Down the Fashion Runway with Douglas Company

When it comes to accessories and fashion forward style, Clifford the Big Red Dog has got it going on at Douglas Company. The popular pooch is making his first appearance on the fashion runways, with the New Hampshire-based plush toy and lifestyle gift creator, at this year’s winter gift and toy shows.

This fun fashion line includes a Clifford Tote. This fully functional tote is light tan in coloring and beautifully quilted with crisscross stitching. It stands 8″ tall and is border trimmed in a primary colored geometric pattern with a heart that sets off Clifford’s friend, Emily Elizabeth. It has two handle carries with plenty of space for all those must-bring items. Inside the bag is an 8″ Clifford plush dog for added playtime fun. SRP: $20

For an over-the-shoulder bag, check out the Clifford Sillo. The Clifford Sillo is 11″ wide and captures the standing profile of a Clifford the Big Red Dog. Its edges are beautifully corded in a primary colored geometric pattern, and has a long over-the-shoulder single strap for carrying. A glitter heart frames one of Clifford’s best friends, Emily Elizabeth. The entire bag is made from a brilliant red, ultra-soft fabric that is crisscross quilted. Inside is plenty of storage room. Clifford Plush Head Purse is also an over-the-shoulder style plush purse. Its clever design showcases Clifford’s smiling face. It is three dimensionally round in styling and is just plain fun to carry with a long single sturdy strap done in primary colored geometric print SRP: $18

Clifford Sillo-ette is the perfect on the go bag to hold all your small items. This 7″ bag swings Clifford’s profile from the wrist or easily attaches to belt or larger bag. It’s a petit match of the larger Clifford Sillo. SRP: $14

Clifford Oval Handbag rounds out the 2012 Clifford Fashion collection with a whimsical touch. This two-handled, 8.5″ oval bag is tan in color except for the featured Clifford Plush head on the bag’s side panel. The handbag is fully quilted with crisscross stitching and is accented by a primary colored geometric print. SRP:$18

Excluding the tote, all of the Clifford fashion purses have a plastic zipper closure for easy accessibility. The Clifford Fashion and Clifford Cuddle Toy lines will be sold at specialty toy and gift stores in the USA and Canada. The collection will show at Toy Fair in booth #373, as well as other 2012 major gift and toy shows.
