CMC Gears Up For Busy July Gift & Home Market With Expanded Resources

The California Market Center (CMC) will be hosting the CMC Gift & Home Market, Tuesday – Tuesday, July 16 – 23, 2013, from 9am to 6pm daily, with extended hours until 8pm on Friday, July 19. This edition of Market will offer expanded resources, including the arrival of new showrooms, as well as a world-class selection of fashion, accessory and kids resources throughout the building. Furthermore, buyers and designers will find a variety of amenities and hospitality throughout the Market, adding to their experience at the CMC.

“We are thrilled about the increase in business we have written as a direct result of the cross-over traffic at the CMC,” said Mitchell Hall, owner of Bridgeport Gallery in Suite C1211. “This past Spring we saw over a 50% increase in business with new accounts, ranging from Los Angeles to Alaska. We are excited to debut four new lines, and anticipate a strong Fall Market.”

“There is so much good energy at the CMC, and the synergy of working with the fashion industry has been so beneficial,” said Robin Seidel, President of Rosalie & Friends Inc., Suite C1298. “We are opening new accounts with whom we would never have had access to if we had not moved here. We are looking forward to having an exciting show!”

Buyers, interior designers, and industry guests are invited to enjoy a variety of perks, including a complimentary breakfast Tuesday, July 16 through Sunday, July 21 in the Buyers Lounge, Suite B271, from 9:00am – 10:30am each day. There will also be a press area for all media outlets to take advantage of in the Buyers Lounge, featuring free wireless Internet, printer, fax machine, and a comfortable place to take a break. Furthermore, Friday, July 19 on floor 12C there will be a complimentary Pretzel Crisps tasting station mid-day, and then wine and dessert reception early evening, open to all industry guests.

All guests will enjoy unmatched conveniences at the CMC, such as extensive underground parking, free with any purchase order placed in a CMC showroom, complimentary shuttle services to host hotels, the LA Mart, and the California Gift Show, and a complimentary luggage check will be available at the CMC registration desk in the lobby for added convenience.

The CMC Gift & Home Market is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, July 16, 2013, and runs through Tuesday, July 23, 2013.
