Cobourg Shop Offers a Sweet Gift
Cobourg, ON – A sweet treat for your sweetheart, chocolate for Valentine’s Day is rooted in modern-day traditions.
In Cobourg, Harden and Huyse Chocolates offers its Belgium chocolates in a heart-shaped box also made of chocolate, said co-owner Claude Hardenne. Mr. Hardenne has been in the chocolate business nearly all his life and the shop is now in its sixth year in Cobourg. Mr. Hardenne’s father, who is from Belgium, started the chocolate shop in Saskatoon 30 years ago for his three children, including Mr. Hardenne.
Valentine’s is a special time in the chocolate business, said Mr. Hardenne.
