Colonial Candle Debuts Three New Collections at Winter 2014 Markets

Just in time for spring retail, Colonial Candle will introduce three new candle collections during the winter 2014 markets, including Atlanta, Dallas, Las Vegas, Chicago, Minneapolis and Denver. New from the popular Destinations line, the Paris Collection and the Rio de Janeiro Collection evoke two exciting locations. Colonial Candle will also debut its 2014 Spring Collection featuring six light, airy scents of the season as well as trend colors such Pantone’s color of the year, radiant orchid, reflected in new fragrance Plum Orchid.

“The Paris and Rio De Janeiro Collections both celebrate renowned destinations, evoking each city’s unique history, culture, food and festivities,” says Amanda Lowe, Colonial Candle product manager. “Both collections also complement our newest Spring Collection, which is filled with light, cheery scents sure to liven up any space.”

The Paris Collection:

Colonial customers will now be able to walk the Seine, and experience the mouth-watering scents of a French café from the comfort of their own home. The Paris Collection features the following four fragrances which will debut to retailers during the winter 2014 markets, with shipping beginning February 1, 2014:

 Flora Parfume – A beautiful Parisian bouquet of white peonies, romantic jasmine and sheer musk.

 Raspberry Macaroon – A vibrant dessert blend of raspberries, blackberries and vanilla pastry drizzled with golden caramel.

 Parisian Café – Enjoy an open air café in the heart of Paris with notes of citrus blossom, crushed violet leaves and herbaceous nuances of green leaves and thyme.

 River Seine – An airy stroll of pink pepper, anise and geranium mixed with watery flowers and musk.

The Rio de Janeiro Collection:

Also new to the Destinations line, the Rio de Janeiro Collection captures the tropical flowers and fruits of Brazil’s vibrant capitol. The Rio de Janeiro Collection will debut to retailers during the winter 2014 markets, with shipping beginning May 1, 2014, and includes the following four fragrances:

 Caipirinha – Sip on Brazil’s most popular cocktail with notes of sugar cane rum, honey and lime.

 Carnival – A creamy bouquet of rose, lilac and musk drizzled with vanilla over shaved coconut.

 Guava & Papaya – An invigorating tropical scent of guava nectar, papaya and grapefruit.

 Hibiscus & Java – An intricate blend of blooming white florals of jasmine and orange blossom

mixed with rich espresso beans.

The Destinations fragrance collection calls to mind renowned locations across the globe, and also includes candles evoking the slopes of Vail. Each of these collections includes four exclusive fragrances designed to transport you on a trip around the world. The Destinations fragrances are available in 22-ounce ($25 suggested retail), 8-ounce ($15) and 3.5-ounce ($7.50) signature oval jars, as well as oval glass votives ($3) and Simmer Snaps wax melts ($3).

The Spring Collection:

Welcome spring with six new fragrances, which are available for shipping beginning in December. From the fruity blend of Orange Blossom, to misty air of Sea Salt & Yuzu, Colonial Candle’s new spring fragrances include:

 Blueberry Scone – Perfect for a spring picnic, tart blueberries mixed with warm butter cake, vanilla and almond.

 Orange Blossom – An intoxicating fruity blend of sun ripened orange, juicy kiwi and fresh squeezed lime wrapped in crushed cilantro.

 Plum Orchid – Luxurious orchid notes wrapped in the warmth of jasmine and ylang with plum and sandalwood.

 Sea Salt & Yuzu – An energizing scent of misty sea salt air with touches of grapefruit zest, tart yuzu and lime blossom.

 Tea Olive Bloom – Blooming white flowers mixed with apricot, dark plum and a dash of saffron.

 Weeping Willow – A swaying willow captured by fresh bamboo, lemon and oakmoss.

Spring fragrances are available in 3.5-ounce (suggested retail price: $7.50), 8-ounce ($15) and 22-ounce ($25) signature oval containers; oval glass votives ($3); oval glass tealights ($2.98); 9-pack tealights ($8); Simmer Snaps wax melts ($3); 3 x 4-inch pillars ($12.50) and 3 x 6-inch pillars ($14.50).
