Company C Launches New Collection and Celebrates 15 Years in New High Point Showroom

Concord, New Hampshire – Company C, a Concord, NH-based designer and manufacturer of hand-crafted area rugs and home textiles, recently announced the company will move its showroom to the International Home Furnishings Center® (IHFC) for the upcoming High Point Market, April 25 to 30, 2009, where the 15-year-old company will introduce its Fall 2009 collection and celebrate its anniversary.

“The Fall 2009 collection is one of our most creative collections yet” said Christine Chapin, design and product development director for Company C. “We are thrilled to mark15 years of Colorful Living with our valued customers, friends and employees. This season’s colorful designs truly showcase our colorful point of view.”

The Fall 2009 collection will be introduced with three design groups: Dress a Room, Languages of Color and Modern Threads. Dress a Room is fashion-forward with tones, patterns and fabrics making a statement of refined, but casual elegance. One bedding set in cool color combinations and one in warm, Dress a Room highlights color blocking and watercolor effects as key design elements for this season.

Making a floral statement for fall, Languages of Color shows caramel as the new neutral paired with pops of fresh Cyan, Grass and Berry jewel tones. Inspired by traditional global ikat designs and antique Russian textiles, this new product group boasts a dramatic combination of large-scale medallions, feminine floral patterns, silk, velvet and tweed accent pieces.

Modern Threads features bursts of color in Lake, Pumpkin, Grass and Sun and an abundance of experimental texture. The Limited Edition Give a Hoot rug was designed to celebrate Company C’s fifteenth year in business. The 4-foot-by-6-foot rug features a large owl, six different types of yarn and a pole pocket on the back for hanging on a wall.

The anniversary and launch party is scheduled for Monday, April 27, at Company C’s IHFC showroom, D431. Special guest speaker, Mary Liz Curtin, author of A Shopkeeper’s Manual and co-owner of Clawson, MI-based retail store, Leon & Lulu, will begin her presentation at 3:00 p.m., followed by a celebration, hors d’oeuvres and cocktails at 4:00 p.m.
