Complete New Artisan Look for Gourmet du Village Packaging Redesign

Artisan made, quality products, created in small batches are the images we like to associate with Specialty Foods. Gourmet du Village is repackaging and relaunching some of their best sellers to better reflect this quality image. ‘The packaging sets the tone’ is never more true than with the tastes of our favourite specialty foods.

They started with changing the name and the look of their best selling ‘Brie Toppings’; a big step changing it to “Chutney for your Cheese”. People loved these tastes as a topping for their Baked Brie or Camembert but these products taste too good to just be used for a single purpose, these are condiments full of taste.

“We wanted to share the tastes to encourage more people to try them as condiments with cold cuts or in sandwiches or paired with fine cheeses and wines” said Mike Tott founder of Gourmet du Village.

They have changed their Beer Can Chicken packaging even their newest Pulled Pork an instant success since being launched in 2012. They have added new collections of Mustards, Hot Pepper Sauces, Wine Jellies, Sweet Potato Seasonings, a whole range.

This is a bold step for one of North America’s already best selling specialty food companies but the response from customers has been excellent says Tott.
