Bead store in industrial park is hidden treasureBy Angela Rabago-MussiAZ Central

The industrial park atmosphere outside gives no clue to what you’ll find inside Confetti, The Bead Place.

This Surprise bead shop is tucked so far away, in fact, that the first time I tried to find the place without a map, I gave up. But I’m glad I went back.

Inspiration hits you as soon as you walk through the door, with a long counter filled with beaded jewelry, purses and accessories.

Although the store sells a select number of employee creations, most of the displays only give examples of what shoppers can learn to make in the store’s long list of classes.

The real shopping begins when you store your purse in one of the lockers in the front room, pick up a tray and step into the next room, which is filled floor to ceiling with every kind of bead imaginable.
