Contract Business all Set for Success: Around 250 Active Suppliers at Ambiente 2013

The package of measures for the contract business from Ambiente, the leading international fair, is encountering an interest in the market that is still growing strongly. Around 250 exhibitors from approximately 30 countries offering systems and solutions in the commercial contract furnishing segment, are actively using the package of measures from Messe Frankfurt at Ambiente in Frankfurt am Main. This makes the order and inspiration platform even more interesting for decision-makers such as decorators, interior designers, caterers and the up-market hotel segment. “Equipping large projects in the catering and hotel field and commercial premises makes the highest demands in terms of the aesthetics and quality of the products. As a key distinguishing feature, the interior design of commercial premises is one of the most important competitive factors. Ambiente offers professional buyers a portfolio of top suppliers with expertise and experience in this business segment”, says Nicolette Naumann, Vice President Ambiente/Tendence.

At Ambiente, buyers come into direct contact with experts and can discuss made-to-measure solutions ranging from custom-made equipment right up to individual items manufactured on a large scale, and order them. Exhibitors such as Dibbern, WMF or Zwiesel Kristallglas are some of the names in the Dining segment. In the Living segment, suppliers such as Fink, Lambert, Exotica Cor Mulder or Nic Duysens stand for competence in the contract business. The appropriate suppliers at the fair can be clearly identified by the Contract Business label. Thanks to a digital matchmaking-platform with limited access and a supplier verification system, company information can be researched in advance and appointments arranged for personal contact at the fair: contract-ambiente.messefrankfurt.com.

Apart from the above, the package of measures supplied by Messe Frankfurt includes an exclusive contract business lounge. The lounge makes space available for establishing business contacts and holding talks on important topics from this segment. For example, on 18 February, the German Hotel Association [Hotelverband Deutschland (IHA) e.V.] will offer two talks, each with different emphases, entitled ‘The hotel business: planning interior design all the way from Ambiente to room furnishings’. Further talks by professionals from the commercial interior design segment are being planned.

Special guided tours of hotels illustrate the different interior design concepts pursued by two of Frankfurt’s top hotels, namely the ‘Steigenberger Frankfurter Hof’ and ’25hours Hotel The Goldman’. The hotels’ representatives as well as interior designers will provide exciting insights on location. After the tours, participants can avail themselves of the opportunity to exchange ideas directly over a drink. The guided tours will be held on 16 and 18 February from 4 pm to about 6 pm. The number of participants is limited. As of now, participants in this field and journalists can register under: contractbusiness@messefrankfurt.com.
