Craftwork Cards Ltd Brings CANDi to the US Craft Market
Craftwork Cards Ltd, the British papercraft, card, and scrapbooking company has launched Candi-a new line of colorful accessories to adorn any handmade card, page, or craft project.
Candi is a collection of dome-shaped legless brads that add the perfect finishing touch any paper craft project. Candi is available in a variety of delicious colors and themes-like Hot Tropics and Iced Gems-and can also be made sparkly or enameled by decorating with glitter glue, gloss, or any other embellishments. No matter what the project, there will always be a Candi to match.
Unlike metal brads, which are attached by inserting metal legs through the card or page, Candi is paper-based and can be affixed to any papercraft with glue, silicone, or foam pads, eliminating the need to pierce holes in projects.
Candi is also acid and lignin free-a necessity for scrapbookers-so as not to spoil photographs.
And though Candi is dome-shaped to retain a sense of dimension, it remains more lightweight than other brads, allowing the craft maker to use many more if required.
While a pack of only 12 brads typically retails for $3.00, a pack of over 400 solid-colored Candi retails for $3.20, while the patterned varieties retail for $3.84. A single piece of Candi is 10mm diameter, and there are 10grams in a pack.
Candi is available for retail sales throughout the United States from Notions Marketing Corp andProduct Performers. Craftwork Cards will also be exhibiting at the Craft & Hobby Association (CHA) Conference & Trade Show in Rosemont, IL from July 16-19, 2012.
