Creative Co-Op Named Manufacturer of the Year at the 2012 Retailer Excellence Awards

Creative Co-Op was the winner of the inaugural Retailers’ Choice Manufacturer of the Year award presented in conjunction with Gifts and Decorative Accessories Retailer Excellence Awards gala. Finalists were named from a national survey of retailers, who were asked to nominate their top vendors based on sales, quality of service and support, and quality and appeal of merchandise. From this list of finalists, an additional retailer survey was conducted to select the top manufacturer.

“There is no higher accolade than to be recognized by our customers, and we are truly honored to be the winner of the inaugural Retailers’ Choice Manufacturer of the Year award,” said Lee Wang, Creative Co-Op’s Executive Vice President. “Never before have we gotten such clear validation that what we’re doing is so appreciated by our customers. They give us the daily inspiration to do what we do, and we’re looking forward to continuing to serve them for many years to come.”

Introduced in 1951, the Gifts and Decorative Accessories Retailer Excellence Awards are the oldest and most prestigious honors recognizing retail and individual achievement. All the finalists were honored at Gifts and Decorative Accessories’ 61st annual Retailer Excellence Awards Gala at which the winners were announced. The Gala was held at the Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers in New York City this past Sunday evening, August 19, 2012.

Creative Co-Op designs, imports, and distributes home decorative accessories, gift, and seasonal categories for retailers around the world. The company was founded in 2001 and has extensive experience in offshore sourcing focused on design, workmanship, finishing and timely delivery.
