Fair prices and hand-picked goods has helped a Crouch End entrepreneur win the title of best independent retailer in London for her greeting cards.

Businesswoman Tiffa Easmon-George who owns Gift, a popular haunt among north London residents, collected her award at a glamorous ceremony at the Dorchester Hotel, in Park Lane.

The awards were sponsored by Progressive Greetings Magazine and is the equivalent of the Oscars in greeting card industry.

Gift has flourished over the past ten years and boasts a good range of greeting cards from the V&A Museum, the Royal Academy and prints from French publisher Nouvelle Images.
