Culture+ at ASD Market Week launches Puff Pass Pitch

More than 20 contestants pitched their emerging products in the inaugural Puff Pass Pitch during Culture+ at ASD Market Week on July 29 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas. BodyChek Wellness was named and awarded the first-ever “Top CBD & Hemp Product of 2019” by representatives from leading CBD, cannabis, and advocacy companies, including MedMen and Planet 13 Holdings, Inc.

Culture+ at ASD Market Week is the premier event connecting manufacturers, distributors, retailers, investors, press, and more in the CBD, kratom, hemp, and cannabis industries. Every spring and summer, hundreds of products are put on display, relationships are cultivated, and lucrative investments are initiated alongside ASD Market Week, a consumer merchandise buying show.

At ASD Market Week, a wide variety of retail merchandise is showcased from more than 2,700 vendors to more than 45,000 attendees at one place and at one time. At the most comprehensive trade show in the market, ASD Market Week and its nine separate shows feature unlimited order-writing opportunities, networking and profile-raising events like this season’s Puff Pass Pitch.

“Puff Pass Pitch exposed the breadth of great ideas and innovations that the Culture+ exhibitors are bringing to the show. It’s hard to compare across the various categories because they can be so different, but the passion of the teams showed through on everyone,” said Craig Binkley, chief brands officer, PRØHBTD.

During Puff Pass Pitch, each contestant was given 60 seconds in a Shark Tank setting to pitch their early-stage products to a panel and audience of experts and key players to win the “Top CBD & Hemp Product of 2019.” Judges included Binkley; PRØHBTD; David Farris, Planet 13 Holdings, Inc.; Jace Goodrow, MedMen; Madisen Saglibene, Nevada NORML; and Abi Wright, Sensi Magazine. The inaugural event resulted in publicity and multiple potential investments.
