Sharonville, OH – Months after a University of Cincinnati football player was killed in a motorcycle accident, his father is opening up a candy store in his son’s name.

Chamoda Kennedy-Palmore, 19, was a terrific football player, but his coaches have stressed that his character shined on and off the field. That’s the legacy his family hopes to carry on, through Chamoda’s Candy Cafe.

Jars are filled with 17 different flavors of gummy bears and the sign is going up at the store on Chester Road, in Sharonville. The opening of his own gourmet candy shop is a dream come true for Chamoda Palmore, a dream his son inspired him to pursue.
