Dallas Leasing Update: An Entire Floor of Wearable Gifts – Fashion & Accessories

Dallas Market Center recently announced that an entire floor of Wearable Gifts – Fashion & Accessories on World Trade Center (WTC) 13th floor will offer a complete, one-stop shop for this high-margin, in-demand category including scarves, belts, jewelry, handbags and more during this week’s Dallas Temp Show, Jan. 16-19.

Temporaries on WTC 13 presenting Wearable Gifts include the following order-writing categories:

Handmade Fashion & Accessories Temps: Design-oriented handmade jewelry and apparel creations such as handbags, scarves and more with exhibitors including Beatrixbell Handcrafted Jewelry, Colombian Girl Jewelry, Cool and Interesting, Gleeful Peacock, Lorraine’s Artistic Designs, Ornamental Things, Robin Goodfellow Designs and Tula Hats.

Red Haute Temps: A juried-collection of high-end fashion and boutique items such as jewelry, handbags, hats, apparel, footwear and hair accessories. Exhibitors include Bedhead Pajamas, Elements/Jill Schwartz, Good Works Make A Difference, Grace George, Gypsy, John Wind/Maximal Art, Lizzy J’s, Made From Coins, Mariana, Sweet Romance Jewelry, Surrealist USA, Scandalous Designs and Walleska Ecochicc.

Fashion Temps: Stylish fashion merchandise for men and women including jewelry, apparel, handbags, leather goods, footwear, travel accessories, eco-friendly accessories and more with exhibitors including ATX Mafia, Caroline Hill, Glenda Gies Designs, Gypsy Soule, Julio Designs, Just Funky, Liberty Black Boots, M. Rena, Passion, Vocal and Young Essence.

Both permanent and temporary resources on WTC 13 create a complete floor dedicated to the growing category and must-see lines. Permanent exhibitors Zenzii, WTC 13-13280; Coronet Jewelry Company, WTC 13-13880; and Olive’s Up, WTC 13-13864; will all make their Dallas debuts during Market. Additional highlights of permanent exhibitors on WTC 13 offering Wearable Gifts include: Dian Malouf, Dorfman-Pacific, Fossil, Jimmy Crystal, Treska, Vera Bradley and many more.

Dallas is also previewing the category on its “Wearable Gifts to Inspire in 2014” Pinterest Board, showcasing products and display ideas to help buyers diversify their merchandising mix and increase sales. The exhibitor with the “most-pinned product” will receive a free display showcasing its lines during Market.

On Thursday, Jan. 16 and Friday, Jan. 17 at 11 a.m. on WTC 13, Professional Stylist Pam Wright will present a live styling demo, “Accessory Displays for the Gift & Home Retailer,” sharing her techniques on cross-merchandising by creating compelling displays to bring Wearable Gifts into retailers’ gift and home stores.
