Dallas Market Center names 2023 Light Stars

Dallas Market Center, the home of Lightovation, a residential lighting trade event in North America, named the 2023 Light Stars honorees.

These individuals will attend the June 21-24 edition of Lightovation as honored guests, and the group includes top lighting professionals from across North America. This year’s 53 Light Stars represent 16 U.S. states and four Canadian provinces, encompassing all regions.

Anyone in the industry can nominate a Light Star, an exceptional individual who wouldn’t normally have the opportunity to attend Lightovation but would greatly benefit from the experience. Honorees accepted into the Light Stars program receive airfare and two nights of hotel accommodations during the June show. Nominations were received this year through March 13.

In addition to travel and hotel arrangements, Light Stars are granted access to all Lightovation exhibits and events, including the Showroom of the Year Awards on Wednesday, June 21, at 6 p.m. and the Lighting After Dark party, taking place 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Thursday, June 22, at Scout at the Statler Hotel. Dallas Market Center’s Lighting Concierge Arturo Maluy will also lead orientation tours starting at 9 a.m. on both days.
