Dallas Leads the Way with Seamless Wireless Network & Mobile App

Dallas Market Center today announced that it has once again expanded its on-campus free Wi-Fi and cellular service for buyers, creating the most complete coverage of any wholesale marketplace. This newly-enhanced service is compatible with all major cell phone carriers including AT&T, Verizon and more. The enhanced wireless service will also support the usability of the recently-updated Dallas Market App, which now features a more than 120 percent increase in product categories. These updates are available to buyers and exhibitors attending the current Dallas Total Home & Gift Market, running through Jan. 22.

“The combination of the Dallas Market App and our ever-improving Wi-Fi coverage allows buyers a complete Market resource in the palm of their hands,” said Cindy Morris, COO, Dallas Market Center. “Our continuing goal is to offer attendees the most efficient marketplace to do business.”

The new Dallas Market App was released in June 2012 and is available for iPhone and Android users. The update includes live data that can be set to automatically refresh each time the App is opened, so that information can update in real-time. Other new features include calendar integration, improved maps, quick searching, screen rotation, shuttle and DART rail information, and social media integration.
