Dallas Market Center Increases Houseware Offerings

Dallas Market Center today announced that its houseware offerings have increased for the upcoming Dallas Total Home & Gift Market (June 20-26) due to the expansion of two key showrooms—The McLendon Company and Source One Marketing—and the addition of Table & Houseware FINDS, a new temporary category to the FINDS Dallas Temp Show (June 21-24; staggered opening and closing dates).

“Houseware products are currently a major industry focus and we are pleased to provide these important resources to our buyers,” said Cindy Morris, COO, Dallas Market Center. “The expansions of these key showrooms will help to grow each company’s business and provide fresh lines to attendees.”

The McLendon Company has expanded and relocated to Trade Mart (TM) 1-1030. The showroom features and range of collections of gourmet housewares and gourmet food lines. The McLendon Company will also offer gourmet food tastings during June Market. For more information visit www.bob.mclendon.com.

“The McLendon Company is celebrating 58 years in business by embodying founder Joel McLendon’s optimism and expanding into a new showroom,” said Bob McLendon, owner, The McLendon Company. “Our focus continues to be the independent retailer and the lines we represent lend themselves to them. We look forward to seeing new and established customers at the upcoming show.”

Source One Marketing (TM 1-1949) has also expanded its showroom space and offers a range of houseware products including cast iron cookware, kitchen gadgets, bakeware, serving bowls, entertainment accessories and more. For more information visit www.sourceonemktg.com.

“This will be our third showroom expansion in less than a year,” said Bill Rogers, president, Source One Marketing. “We are thrilled with the support given to us by the Market Center.”

“We are amazed by the business growth we have experienced since opening our showroom last June,” said Kay Hatterman, vice president, Source One Marketing. “I feel confident this expansion will allow us to introduce more product categories to Dallas Market Center buyers.”

The new temporary category Table & Houseware FINDS will be located on the World Trade Center 12th floor and feature a collection of functional gifts, dining, cooking and entertaining wares, as well as clever items for the home.
