Designer Amy Howard to Present at Dallas Summer Market
Dallas Market Center today announced that designer Amy Howard will present on Friday, June 21 at 4 p.m. in the World Trade Center Hall of Nations during the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market (June 19-25, 2013). Amy will offer insight into her newest mission – Rescue Restore Redecorate – an environmentally-friendly approach to furniture refurbishment.
Amy is the creative genius behind Amy Howard at Home, which solely focuses on updating and refreshing tired furniture that would otherwise be discarded. The line, which is shown in CODARUS, WTC 5-546, features finishes that range from one-step paints to Venetian plasters, and mirror antiquing kits to watermark specking. Her innovative techniques and easy-to-use products have changed the way designers and DIY professionals look at existing furniture and cast-offs.
he passion Amy has for vintage pieces and fine antiques is also evident in the Amy Howard Collection, which features more than 300 artisan-crafted pieces. Custom pieces, down to the renowned Amy Howard finish, set the Collection apart. The Amy Howard Collection is sold by retailers nationwide, numerous interior designers and displayed in design showrooms in upscale markets across the United States. Amy currently owns and manages Artisan Studios, in Memphis, Tenn., where the Amy Howard Collection is produced.
