Early Success for Artist Christine Adolph

The summer trade shows once again proved to be successful for MHS Licensing thanks in large part to their new artist Christine Adolph. From kitchen textiles and home décor to stationery and greeting cards, Christine’s portfolio was in high demand during the 2011 Surtex, Licensing and Atlanta Gift Shows. “Having arguably the best art licensing trade shows in such a condensed timeframe can be a challenge. Being able to introduce the talents of an artist of Christine’s caliber really created a buzz at those shows and people sought us out,” says Marty Segelbaum, President of MHS Licensing.

Since those three tradeshows, MHS Licensing has entered into a number of agreements for Christine’s artwork highlighted by her partnership with Cranston for over-the-counter fabric as well as Gallerie II / C&F for Christmas ornaments and printed pillows and Style Craft for home accents, all to be launched next year.

“Cranston is thrilled to partner with such a wonderful artist,” says Jodi Beckett, Executive Vice President of Marketing. “Christine’s interpretation of design and color is fresh and exciting and will translate beautifully onto fabric. Christine’s debut collection will launch in spring 2012 to the Independent Market under Cranston’s premium quilting brand, Quilting Treasures.”

Tabletop, kitchen textiles, greeting cards and home decor manufacturers have also shown strong interest in Christine’s work and more proposals are expected. Her innovative techniques and design processes led to early success in the craft and hobby market and her impressive portfolio of artwork is an ideal fit for a wide variety of product categories.

Christine Adolph has lived within steps of the ocean her entire life, providing her with a spectacular reference for natural form, color theory and surface design. She now brings her vast portfolio of sophisticated textures, patterns and motifs to MHS licensing.
