enGreet Continues to Enhance Selection With Addition of New Artists

Indianapolis, IN – On the heels of Gulf Action, a special campaign aimed at urging legislative action in the gulf while raising money for eco-conscious foundations, and a successful trip to the National Stationary Show this spring, enGreet.com, the online portal for mainstream and niche greeting cards, today announced that it has added several new artists to its array of offerings. The new artist designs, which include work from NosVemos Greetings, Fishbowl Cards, dog(eat)dog, and more, give enGreet a leg up in the largely saturated greeting card market by offering consumers a diverse set of bilingual, special needs oriented, and culturally relevant cards to choose from.

enGreet has already sold thousands of cards since its soft launch in February of this year and has attracted more than 100 artists including these latest additions. Through campaigns, outreach, and a special Artist Portal which allows artists to upload designs, manage inventory, interact with other artists and earn 20 percent on every card sold that uses their designs, the platform is striving to give consumers more choice and convenience when sending greeting cards.

New additions like NosVemos Greetings, for example, have added a line of bilingual greeting cards with Spanish & English sentiments on the front of the card, filling the gap for the numerous Spanish speaking populations for which most stores have very limited options. Other additions, like Fishbowl Cards, offer a unique focus on children, adults, families, and friends living with special needs, which until now has had no representation in the greeting card space.

Through innovative campaigns like Gulf Action, enGreet is also opening up the doors to charitable advocacy through political and culturally relevant cards. For instance, the particular cards offered through Gulf Action carry provocative and satirical oil spill-related themes from well known and internationally published political cartoonists, including Paul Fell, Steve Greenberg, Yonatan Frimer, and Joe Mohr. Users are encouraged to send personalized cards to representatives in Washington or the halls of BP and are given mailing addresses paired with the ability to have the cards mailed directly from the enGreet platform. enGreet and its partner artists will donate 20% from the sale of each card to a charity focused on the cleanup or economic restoration of the region.
