Family offers furniture and more
Lafayette — American Living Home & Gift has just opened its doors in the Lafayette Center on Route 15. Joining the existing merchants: Dunkin’ Donuts, Sew & Sew Bridal, Anabells Pizza, Cailey Jewlers, Fox Fire Eneregy Concepts, Lafayette Cleaners and the Lafayette Barber Shop, American Living is a 3,000-sq.-ft. shop filled with what its owners describe as “unique and unusual home furnishings, custom upholstery, lighting, wall art and a great selection of original pieces for your home.”
They have designed the shop so that “Everywhere you turn you will find a treasure to add to your home. There are baskets of great knobs and hooks, decadent French soaps, scented candles fill the air and beautiful floral arrangements surround you on every table top.”
The store had been located in Milford, Pa., for more than six years, but its owners decided to move to Lafayette and open their doors in a larger space to offer a greater selection of merchandise to a larger populous.
“We have a large established clientele base in New Jersey and we really wanted to be more reachable and be a one-stop shop for all their home needs,” said owner Danny Tusinean, when discussing why he left his historic Milford site.
