Fenton Glass Draws a Bead on its Future
Williamstown, WV – You really need a magnifying glass to appreciate the latest creations from Fenton Art Glass.
The Williamstown company, which earlier this year ceased making the collectible art glass pieces it had produced for more 100 years, recently introduced a line of handcrafted and exclusively designed art glass beads. President George Fenton, grandson of the company founder, launched bead production after he searched for a suitable product to match the company’s glass resources.
The distinctive colors and hand-painted designs set them off from the mass-produced glass beads made by Troll and Pandora and other jewelry manufacturers. The collectible Fenton beads work with those bracelet, necklace, earring and other accessory systems. Fenton also offers coordinating teardrop earrings.
