Finding Talent in the Mountain State
Buckhannon, WV – She wasn’t born in West Virginia, but as the elevation rises when she drives into the Mountain State, Sharyn Coker feels like she is coming home.
After falling in love with the state while visiting, Sharyn and her husband, Jim, couldn’t stop thinking about returning to the changing leaves and rolling hills.
Now that they have made the state their home, they are able to give back to the people who welcomed them — through their Buckhannon gift shop, Whimsical Treasures. The shop sells handcrafted items from artisans throughout West Virginia.
