Four Companies Receive Best New Product Awards at the Gourmet Housewares Show at NYIGF
Four companies were presented with “Best New Product Awards” at The Gourmet Housewares Show® today, with Joseph Joseph receiving “Best of Show” honors for its Triscale. The Gourmet Housewares Show runs through Wednesday, August 22, at the New York International Gift Fair® (NYIGF®) at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
Awards also were presented in three product-specific categories, including Cooking (cookware, bakeware, and small electronics); Dining (serveware, bar/wine accessories, picnic/barbecue accessories and specialty foods); and Kitchen Preparation (kitchen gadgets, kitchen textiles, cookbooks and storage/containers). Winners and finalists in each category were selected by a panel of editors based on innovative design; creative use of materials/construction; and use of new materials/technology.
“The second annual sold-out Gourmet Housewares Show provided the judges with a teeming selection of innovative products deserving recognition,” said Marc Delman, national sales manager, Gourmet Housewares Show. “The selected products stood out from others for a high level of purposeful design.”
