Gearing up for Small Business Saturday
Small Business Saturday is quickly approaching, and organizers are encouraging businesses to participate, and for friends and family to “shop small.”
This year, Small Business Saturday is Nov. 29, and organizers are gearing up to make this the biggest one yet. American Express, the event’s sponsor, is recruiting “neighborhood champions” in about 2,000 communities. They will organize Small Business Saturday events in their neighborhoods, and will attempt to raise community awareness about the day.
Companies offering resources to small businesses for Small Business Saturday include Eventbrite, FedEx Office, Microsoft and Yelp. Links to their resources are available here.
