GHTA names recipient of annual Chad Corzine Young Gift & Home Executive Award
Gift and Home Trade Association (GHTA) named Nikki Creveling, owner of The Ritz Sisters, as the recipient of fourth annual Chad Corzine Young Gift & Home Executive Award. The award was presented to Creveling at the recent GHTA Conference at Isle of Palms in Charleston, South Carolina.
Creveling is the leader and principal of The Ritz Sisters, a Pacific Northwest Rep Group. While increasing sales in the territory, Creveling navigates individual management styles allowing her reps to sell, ever-increasing relationships between lines, reps, and clients, and has implemented a full time 9-5 team member in the showroom to further assist both reps and retailers. Creveling balances a young family and remains dedicated, loyal, and keeps her eye on everyone’s best interests.
Creveling championed supporting a commission-only team member with breast cancer. Creveling allowed ample time off for healing and treatment while FULLY covering her rep’s client base and allowed full commission while this rep was out. She organized her team of reps to send encouraging notes, care packages, phone calls, meals, and more to this rep. She is truly an example in this industry and her can do ways exemplify those of Chad Corzine.
The Chad Corzine Gift and Home Young Executive Award
The industry lost a dear friend to many when Chad Corzine passed away in 2021. Corzine cofounded YGE (Young Gift Executives) back in 2014 with the intent to give a voice to young industry leaders without a seat at the table. YGE soon merged with GHTA in 2015 and as a result saw an influx of young executives attending conferences, becoming board members and becoming vocal leaders in our industry. Now, the YGE name isn’t as recognizable today, but without this start, the young leaders in our industry may not have the voice they need today to carry us to tomorrow.
The Chad Corzine Young Gift & Home Executive of the Year is awarded to an individual who demonstrates the following qualities:
- A passion for this industry
- A passion for their business
