Gift Shop Provides Crafty Outlet
Klamath, OR – The Crafty LaDees Gift Shop, at the Klamath Basin Senior Center, can be pretty quiet in January after its busiest months in November and December, when the annual Christmas bazaar is held.
But the slower period gives gift shop manager Wava Weiskopf the chance to get organized and sort donated items, including yarn and fabric remnants.
“I just take one thing at a time,” she said. “I do a little bit of everything.” The gift shop first opened in 1985, and Weiskopf took over as manager in November 2004.
