How about custom-blended skin-care products designed to meet your individual skin needs and formulated in the store while you wait?

That’s what a Villages-based partnership plans to offer in a few weeks when it opens a Bonne Chimie retail skin-care products store in Spanish Springs Town Square.

“It’s such a unique concept and product line,” said Villager Austin Griffin, who, along with wife, Kim, and her sister and brother-in-law, Jill and Mike Baker, operate the new partnership. “For the health conscious, it’s about as all-natural as you can get.”

The partners recently leased retail space next to Bijou & Nejma’s fashion boutique on Alverez Avenue. If all goes as planned, the new store will open the first week of January.

The motivation behind the store’s opening is a classic entrepreneurial tale.
