Why don’t people care anymore? Why are they so quick to say no? Why do most companies say they care about customer service but do so little to improve it?

The hard part of business is getting the customer, and the easy part is keeping them. I guarantee that if you tell this to senior management at some companies, they would disagree with me.

What is so tough here? Trying to keep customers happy is not that difficult. A friend of mine once told me that you should “acquire customers and then convert them into clients.” All that is necessary is being honest and just taking care of people the way you would like to be taken care of.

Think about it: In most salespeople’s approach, they promise that if the customer buys their product or service, after the sale the customer will be taken care of like a Greek god.
