Grace Direct to Debut New Showroom at Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market

Grace Direct will unveil its new 4,692-square-foot showroom at the July 2012 Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market. The new showroom will be located in AmericasMart Building 2, 1017/1019.

“Moving to a new showroom was not really on our radar, but when this space became available we could not pass it up,” said Grace Management Group’s President, Bob Caldwell, Jr. “In our old locale show-goers had to navigate the halls to find our space. Now we are right off the escalators, which we feel is a much better location to continue to spread and grow our brand awareness. It really just boils down to location, location, location.”

Grace Direct will be celebrating the new showroom with a party Friday, July 13 from 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM. Industry friends, customers and show-goers are invited to come and enjoy refreshments and tour the new space.

Attendees will also be served homemade chocolate chip cookies that are made from the coveted Caldwell family recipe that has been passed down generation to generation from the founders of the company.

“This show season we really want to focus on making the buying experience in our showroom hospitable and fun,” said Caldwell. “We want buyers to feel as if we are welcoming them into our home, which is part of the family-owned and operated spirit that has permeated this company since its inception in 1975.”

In terms of design, the new showroom highlights an old textile mill feel with major industrial appeal. Creator of Cool, Heidi S. Ruehl, designer of the Atlanta Showroom, continues to deliver her innovative and unconventional signature style with additions such as a coin operated pony ride, antique sleigh, reclaimed wood from the 1800s and a real traffic light. Grace’s iconic Volkswagen Beetle even made its way through the halls of AmericasMart and into its new home in Building 2, 1019.

Buyers are also invited to stop by the showroom at any time during the week to escape their hectic appointment schedules and the crowded halls and enjoy refreshments in the newly constructed Snack Shack while checking out the new collections.
