Cobb opens doors to floral, design shopBy Terry FergusonDelta Democrat Times

GREENVILLE – A life-long interest has now become a career in flowers for two budding entrepreneurs in the Port City.

In February, Miles Cobb and his wife, Donna Dotson Cobb opened a floral and gift shop, Flowers for You and Gifts at 1447 Martin Luther King South.

“We are full line florist. We do fresh arrangements, silk arrangements, funeral pieces,” Cobb said. “We deal with peoples’ joys and their sorrows. You can always say anything you want about it with a flower.”

They have balloon bouquets, small furniture pieces and the snack pack, which is growing in popularity.

“Snack packs with a balloon tied on them is a big thing for graduation,” Cobb said. “With Father’s Day right around the corner, I imagine a lot of people will want to get dad a snack pack.”
