GSMA Opens Membership For First Time in Six Years
The Gift Sales Manager Association (GSMA), the gift and home industry’s official sales manager-focused organization, is conducting a membership drive for the first time in nearly six years. GSMA believes it is an ideal time to encourage sales managers, including young professionals, to join the organization and to take advantage of its benefits, such as networking opportunities, educational resources, and mentor programs. Membership enrollment will be open until August 31, 2014.
“Throughout the years I have seen our industry shift and change. Many of our members have been able to navigate those changes with the help of GSMA and its network,” said Linda Colson, GSMA president. “We look forward to expanding our already solid membership base with new companies and enthusiastic individuals that will provide fresh perspectives, innovative ideas, and a passion for growing the gift and home industry.”
GSMA is comprised solely of sales executives, sales managers, and company owners. These individuals work together to find solutions to the challenges they face in their respective positions and the challenges the gift and home industry faces as a whole.
GSMA’s membership benefits include:
· New member mentor program
· Networking opportunities at select trade shows
· Discounts on advertising opportunities with industry publications, print, and digital
· Active Yahoo! Group for real-time communication and consultation with other members
· Annual three-day conference-style meeting, focused on business growth, featuring guest speakers and industry professionals
GSMA offers these benefits to encourage members to explore better ways to motivate, manage, train, and communicate with sales representatives and sales managers. The benefits also provide insight as to how to effectively market one’s company and products, along with how to cost-effectively combine advertising and marketing strategy with other members for greater exposure.
GSMA Membership is open to any company in the gift and home industry, with an annual membership fee of $175, until August 31, 2014.
