Harvest Sweets® Fruit Truffles Now All Natural

Pocasset, MA – Cape Cod Provisions LLC has converted all seven of its fruit truffle varieties to an all natural recipe. Company founder Sue Faria stated, “Converting our fruit truffle colorings to all natural was a bit challenging, but we were committed to achieving this in order to better meet the needs of our customers, especially those with a focus on natural products.”

Harvest Sweets® fruit truffle varieties include cranberry, key lime, raspberry, strawberry, peach, orange and blueberry. The confections are unique in that the center ganache is made with white chocolate as opposed to milk or dark, allowing for a more robust fruit flavor and a center that matches the color of the fruit. The truffles are individually wrapped in color-coordinated wrappers for added visual appeal.

Nearly all chocolate covered fruit products were converted to all natural last year, as were the company’s signature Cranberry Bog Frogs® confections. With the fruit truffle conversion, now almost 90% of Cape Cod Provisions’ products are all natural. The “all natural” designation will be added to the front panel of product packaging this month.
