Meow: Hilarious new Coo Clock from HeadsUp!
Kids and kids at heart will love HeadsUp’s whimsical and cheerful Coo Clocks. Combining Old World charm and 21st century style, these colourful clocks come with a wacky twist that breathes new life into Cuckoo Clocks of old. Inventor Dan Koval jokes, “after 150 years of hard work, it’s time for the cuckoo to retire”. In their place, he came up with a fabulous range of classic farmyard animal and jungle themed characters each with their own individual name and sound. The newest addition to the range is adorable MewCoo, the cat.
MewCoo is sure to create smiles when he pops out of the clock’s front door and sounds with a hearty “Meow”. Cleverly, a light sensor automatically shuts off the character when the room becomes dark. For those who like an encore, he also performs on command by pressing a button on the side of the clock.
MewCoo’s Coo friends are the other 9 other characters, featuring a cow, horse, pig, chicken, dog, sheep, donkey and even an elephant and monkey.
MewCoo can be met at two places this spring
- At the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishing Market between 11 and 15 January, 2008 in Hall 3 at Booth# 5-907, and
- At the New York International Gift Fair between 2 and 5 February 2008, in the Metropolitan Pavilion (New York’s newest), at Booth# 9811.
At more than 1 foot high and 9 inches wide these clocks are big enough to be seen from across the room. The pendulum is an additional 7 inches (19cm) long. They are constructed from high quality plastic and are powered by 1 ‘AA’ type and 3 ‘D’ type batteries. Suggested retail is $49.99. The Coo Clocks are available directly from HeadsUp Design on headsupco.com/clocks.
