Heart on Main Street raising funds for tornado-impacted retailers
Heart on Main Street, a nonprofit dedicated to helping retailers, is raising money to help retailers negatively impacted by the recent severe storms and tornadoes in the Southeast.
“The storms were devastating, and we know that some retail businesses are gone,” said Patrick Keiser, executive director of Heart on Main Street. “We are trying to rally the gift and home industry to make contributions to help retailers pick up the pieces and rebuild their businesses.”
All donations raised between March 28 and April 10 will go directly to provide funds to as many affected independent retailers as possible. Donations can be made online at heartonmainstreet.org/donate.
The mission of Heart on Main Street is to continue to provide funds for disaster relief, along with education, resources, mentorships and grants.
Heart on Main Street is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing independent retailers with the tools necessary to help create sustainable and long-lasting businesses within their communities and to help save Main Street.
