HomeStyle and Ivystone Group to Merge
Exton, PA — HomeStyle, the soon-to-be spun-off agency from OneCoast, plans to merge with the Ivystone Group effective January 1st, 2010. The combined regionally-focused sales agency will operate two distinct brands: HomeStyle will emphasize Home Accents & Lifestyle products while the Ivystone Group will focus on the gift market.
“We saw this as an opportune time to combine two companies with distinct strengths in order to provide a new level of service to our retailers and vendors,” says Doug Cofiell, CEO of the newly combined entity. Joining Cofiell on the management team will be Monica Loving, President of HomeStyle, Nancy Lee, Senior VP of HomeStyle, and Mike Steidle, VP of Ivystone Group.
“Ivystone has always been a top performing sales agency for us,” said Don Barton, Vice President of Sales & Marketing from Transpac Imports Inc. “Its merger with HomeStyle will make them even stronger in serving our customers.”
The combined company will have more than 150 field sales representatives along with 20 key account representatives and will operate showrooms in Atlanta, Dallas, Chicago and Las Vegas.
In addition, Mr. Cofiell announced that Atlanta-based sales agency DTR will be merged into Ivystone Group effective Jan 1st, 2010. DTR’s Atlanta showroom and sales team will become part of Ivystone Group. Dawn Raymond, the owner of DTR, said, “We are delighted to be part of the IvyStone/HomeStyle team; this is a great opportunity for vendors, reps and retailers”!
A major showroom launch in Atlanta is being planned for January market.
