Housewares Design Awards Announces Finalists Competing for 2014 “Best of the Best” Honors
Sixty-five finalists for the 11th annual Housewares Design Awards have been named, selected by an independent panel of industry experts that reviewed hundreds of recently introduced products for the home.
This is the industry’s preeminent competition honoring design achievement. The Housewares Design Award All-Stars – the over 130 vendors who have won Housewares Design Awards since its inception – represent the innovation leaders that have fueled the growth of the housewares industry with creativity, quality and responsiveness to consumers’ needs.
Twelve “Best in Category” winners that stand out for both aesthetics and functionality will be chosen from the 60 finalists.
Three “Best of the Best” recipients at the Gold, Silver and Bronze levels will be chosen from the twelve category winners, honored as the best designed housewares products of the year. In addition, a “Green House” design award will be given to the best-designed eco-friendly products.
All awards will be announced on February 4, 2014 at a gala ceremony and luncheon at the New York Marriott Marquis overlooking Times Square.
