Hundreds Brave Snowstorm to Help Actress Monica Potter Open Home Decor Store in Portage County
Nelson Township, OH – Falling snow, bitter temperatures and occasional whiteout driving conditions weren’t enough to stop hundreds of fans from joining actress Monica Potter at the opening of her new home store just north of Garrettsville.
Some fans said they waited more than half an hour to catch a shuttle to the small boutique; its own parking lot off state Route 88 could only accommodate a dozen or so cars.
Then they waited up to two hours in a tent warmed by deck heaters for their turn to enter the shop, which could fit about 80 people at a time between tables and walls lined with candles, country art and home decor.
