ICON HONORS Call For Submissions And Nominations Seeks Home, GIft Industry’s Most Innovative, Accomplished

ATLANTA—The 2011 ICON HONORS Call for Submissions and Nominations opens today as the official invitation to retailers, manufacturers, sales agents and service providers to compete for top recognition in the home and gift industry’s newest and most coveted honors program.

All entering the 2011 ICON HONORS program will have the opportunity to submit in three categories—Innovation, Contribution, Achievement—at the official website www.americasmarticonhonors.com.

Submissions and nominations will be independently evaluated by a panel of distinguished judges from the retail, manufacturing and design communities.  The judges will render impartial and independent opinion based on their noted expertise.  Winning entries will be announced at the ICON HONORS 2011 Celebration in Atlanta on Thursday, July 14, 2011 during the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market.

Notable in the 2011 ICON competition are newly structured Honors recognizing Innovative Technology Applications, Eco-Friendly Product Packaging, Licensed Product Innovations and Sustainable Business Practices.

Home and gift industry retailers, manufacturers, sales agencies and service providers all are eligible to compete in ICON HONORS 2011. All Submissions entered in competition for Innovation and Contribution Honors must be for programs conducted and completed between January 1 and December 31, 2010.
