Independent Retailer Opens All Mud Pie Store

Frisco, Texas is now home to a new Mud Pie Boutique, just in time for holiday shopping. November 22nd marked the Grand Opening of the second Mud Pie retail location, operated by an independent retailer, dedicated exclusively to the lifestyle brand.

Mud Pie has authorized a select group of individual boutique owners to operate stores under the Mud Pie moniker and the trend will continue to grow. The first boutique opened in 2013 at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa near Traverse City, Michigan.

“This has been an organic evolution for us,” said Fred Pannek, president of Mud Pie. “As we continue to grow our fashion, children’s and home offerings, the cross-merchandising opportunities are endless. Retailers have long told us at markets that we are a one-stop-shop for them, and ultimately approached us with the idea of showcasing our collection and leveraging the Mud Pie name.” Mud Pie is known for fashionable and affordable apparel, accessories, and gifts for women, kids and home.

According to store owner, Sherry Craft, choosing Mud Pie as a partner for their Frisco store was a no brainer. “We adore the products—there is so much variety and the prices are unbeatable for the quality they deliver,” she said. “They offered tremendous support throughout the planning process and sent a team of merchandisers to help ready the store for opening.” She added, “We wanted a cohesive, branded look, and that is exactly what we achieved. Our customers just love it!”
